WHO ARE WE?

We’re Anais and Laurie. One in Paris, the other in Brussels, we met in London, followed each other to Geneva and reunited again in Paris. It was time to stop leaving each other! 

A PASSION FOR TERRACOTTA

 Nolença is based in Paris, but is inspired by the warm colours of Toulouse, those of brick and pastel shades. A cheerful house where life is good, expressing a whole new vision of lifestyle fragrance, imbued with softness and poetry.

The questions that EVERYONE asks:

„Why Toulouse?“ It’s the birthplace of Anaïs and our favourite destination for Nolença seminars of course 😉

„Nolença, what does it mean?“ This word means „Fragrance“ in Occitan, a nod to Toulouse, capital of the Occitan region.

„What’s this little house?“ A drawing inspired by the Capitole of Toulouse, the city’s emblematic building. 

Anaïs had a great idea in mind, and was quick to share it with Laurie. That’s when the story of Nolença began, around a lunch in a fantastic restaurant that we will remember for the rest of our lives…

This was followed by hours of intense work, but also a lot of crazy laughter, cups of tea (and soy latte) and long chats to reimagine the world, which forged our friendship and brought us a lot of happiness!

We poured our hearts into Nolença, and we hope you feel at home…

OUR PERFUMERS

Supported by two beautiful composition houses, Robertet and Maelstrom, we cultivate our olfactory creativity thanks to the know-how of recognized and promising perfumers.

Composed with ingredients selected for their quality, each Nolença perfume is written with great complexity, but translates into direct and clear fragrances, bold but never excessive.
